Before we move on to scams one major obvious issue with Mr. Pawar is how is he able to be heading important ministries like minister of agricultural and minister of consumer, food and public distribution and still have time to be ICC president at the same time? Surely just the PDS system in India needs massive reform and a huge amount of effort and time. Also I am no expert but isn't there a law that a minister can't held another office of profit? Wasn't Sonia Gandhi in trouble some time ago for the same reason? Anyway compared to his major scams that keep coming out in TV and media these are small matters. There are many many scams, mostly real estate scams that he is involved with, most recent and most brazen being Lavasa Project where until recently his daughter and his son-in-law where holding a significant share in the entire project worth crores. And despite well documented reports of his involvement in the project he has the guts to come out openly to tell Jairam Ramesh to back off and not stop the work on Lavasa. Others have documented well the list of scams that Pawar has been involved with so I will just provide the links for it. My question is when is media gonna go after Pawar seriously and expose his various scams.
